This app simply sends the text to your phone, which you then have to copy and send in SMS. This app makes it sound like it types directly into your SMS app. Not what Im looking for.

This App is almost there. Maybe it is a Apple restriction, or they cant figure it out, but I want to send and receive texts from my PC. With this app, you still have to touch your phone and switch applications. I cant read my sms messages inside the MPD app, I have to be in the Messages app, then when I send an SMS I have to switch over to MPD to send. Even that is buggy, sometimes I have quit both messages and MPD because MPD says it sent the SMS, but it hasnt. At that point I have to copy and paste the message. There seems to be no way to sync your contacts between your phone and MPD as well. It is almost there, and I dont think they will get there.

I use it at the office all the time. Its nice to send things from my computer to my ipad so my employer doesnt see my personal activities.

App just didnt want to work on my PC. Contacts had to be in Outlook or exported to .cvs format only Had to manually enter my ICloud contacts. Was not successful sending SMS texts after typing in a phone number. Function buttons were greyed out and could not figure out how to activate. App may work but you need to be a computer wizard to figure it out. Not for me! Waste of $4.99. I want my money back!

Dont be fooled this app is worthless garbage it does nothing it should do, just a waste of space on your phone. dont be fooled like me never buy this app.

After spending a lot of time trying to use this app., I am deleting it off of my phone and my notebook. I read and re-read the documentation and still cant send or receive messages through mPD. Im sure it is great for some people, but not for me.

You can only send the text to your phone and then send the message. This app makes texting or calling someone take even longer. You cant read the texts on your computer either. Waste of $5

cant login into desktop app. i use same password from app on phone for PC.100% sure i got it correct , still denied ... very lame

I really wish I didnt buy this App. By rasp1s review I felt the same exact way except it was an impulsive buy, the one time I dont read the reviews look what happens...

It sends the message to your phone in such a way that you only have to press "send" from your phone to send it out. Helps with long messages. It eliminates the hassle of emailing yourself, copying and pasting. It wont send directly out though.

While a little bit buggy and a bit hard to use, it was convenient. However, Yosemite and iOS 8 now offer a much easier and seamless solution.

This app has potential but is pretty much useless. there are better apps for picture sync, Texting and even calling (Such as Mysms) all this app does is allow you to type a message then send it to YOUR phone, THEN you can send that info to a recipient. its got a long way to go before its worth more than $0.99… If i could get a refund i definitely would. i guess i will just have to wait to see what the developers come up with in future updates.

It really only helps with getting info from your computer to your phone, not the other way... Waste of money!!!!

I purchased this app hoping to be able to send and receive text messages from my phone on my computer. All it lets you do is type text to your phone. Complete crap.

Its been a really long time (July 2014) since the developer has updated this app. Its useful but not super reliable. Its there when us dont really need it, but not when you need it. Dev...please update!!

Honestly, at its current version, this app is junk and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. When it works its not too bad but in the short time that Ive had it the services have been down constantly so I couldnt log into my account, then when it finally was back up my account apparently stopped working and I couldnt login without resetting my password which attempting to do in the phone app would crash the app every time. So at this point I cant use app at all because I cant reset my password and I cant log into my account, so... what a waste of money. There are other options for apps that serve the same purpose. I recommend going with one of those.

Does not actually send texts to anyone, basically sets up a text - sends it to your phone - then you send from your phone.
