Why the push system is not working

it is a good application but not up to my expectations.. it can be by far better if it can linked to outlook for example... u still need to copy and paste, it will be great if it sends the sms directly... One more thing is teh address book, u need to copy and paste the phone number in order to send the sms.

ok YES i wrote this review using myphonedesktop. But you know what... it is really a waste of money. what a BS app. it DOES what it says,, but I am not that F**** lazy to even type SMS. omg. I cant find a useful way to use this. I feel stupid for buuying this in the first place lol DO NOT GET THIS APP unless you are really really really lazy to type on your FUN iphone. Besides,, who the hell wants to search google on an iphone when he is on a computer ? lol Who would do anything on a phone while hes on a computer?

Not only love this app. But also like that developer being friendly and answering my requests / questions.

The center piece of my work day. Type on my desktop and send it straight to Todo on my iPhone. I wanted something like this and couldnt believe it actually existed. Works just like it claims!

Its really waste of money and will not meet your basic expectations. If u think it is similar to Nokia PC suite, then think again because its no match what so ever with it. Do your self a favor and avoid that purchases!

Using a full keyboard versus thumbing it on the iPhone....your choice, you decide! But for my money, using the keyboard on my desktop with 10 fingers make lots more sense than finger typing on my iPhone. Yes I just love the flexibility that myPhoneDesktop provides me!

The ability to call directly from alfred and the built in address book is priceless

My sister texts alot. It was driving me nuts. This makes it soooo much easier to do long involved replies I should be doing in E-mail

Perfect for typing long SMS messages. Works a treat. I dont how I ever sent long SMSs without it.

It requires JAVA to be installed on your MAC! I don’t welcome JAVA or Flash in my digital life! Deleted ….

This seems to have not been updated much recently. The basics work: you can drag and drop stuff to the side of your screen and have it go to your phone. Phone numbers initiate phone calls immediately, URLs open in the browser. It does this over the internet, not through Bluetooth. It works fairly well, but there are a few things I wanted it to do, which it seems to not do. 1) It cant open links in approprate apps. For example, I would like a Google Maps link to open in the Google Maps app. The marketing made it seem like this would work, but it doesnt seem to be the case. 2) There is apparently integration with Chrome, but nothing I can find for Outlook or Firefox, which were my two big use cases. Theres a universal keyboard shortcut, and that works OK, but I would have rather seen something mouse based. All in all, its a bit clunky, and I dont think its worth $5. But it does work.

The Apps is very useful and would get 4 star if not for a major flaw for most language other than English in windows. In windows most non English keyboard layout use two keystroke combination to produce diacritical characters. When the windows version of myphonedesktop application is running my keyboard cannot produce those character anymore rendering it unusable for me.
